It boasts high export value due to strong international demand for premium-quality spice. We see strong potential for value-added products such as cinnamon oil, powder, and extracts.
Vanilla
A high-value export crop with strong global demand across the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. It is well-suited for intercropping in smallholder farms and provides meaningful opportunities for women’s participation in cultivation and value addition.
Black Pepper
A scalable export crop that is commonly cultivated as a mixed crop, particularly with coconut-based farming systems. Yields can be significantly increased through improved agricultural practices, with growing opportunities in essential oils and spice blends.
Coconut
